Who Can Use Volunteer.box
Volunteer.box is designed for nonprofit organizations, community groups, and similar entities that coordinate volunteers. By signing up, you confirm that you represent such an organization and have authority to agree to these terms on its behalf.
Free Tier
Organizations with fewer than 100 volunteers can use Volunteer.box completely free. We believe every nonprofit should have access to professional volunteer management tools, regardless of budget.
Your Responsibilities
As an organization using Volunteer.box, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your organization and volunteers
- Maintain appropriate consent from volunteers whose data you store
- Use the platform only for legitimate volunteer coordination purposes
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding volunteer management and data protection
Data Ownership
You own your data. Volunteer information, tasks, projects, and all other content you create belongs to your organization. We provide tools to export your data at any time.
Service Availability
We strive to keep Volunteer.box available 24/7, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally need downtime for maintenance, updates, or unexpected issues.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Volunteer.box to:
- Store or transmit illegal content
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to access other organizations' data
- Interfere with the platform's operation
- Resell or redistribute access to the service
Account Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
Limitation of Liability
Volunteer.box is provided "as is." While we work hard to provide a reliable service, we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost data or missed volunteer coordination.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
